Medical Science Liaison region North-Netherlands

The medical Science Liaison Dermatology (MSL) is responsible for providing external and internal customers with scientific information on the appropriate utilization of specific LEO patient solutions and their therapeutic areas in general.  This field-based position (80% external / 20% office) will pro-actively build healthcare provider support.  The MSL is an expert on his/her products and their therapeutic areas.

- Develop, communicate and maintain a thorough scientific knowledge of LEO products and therapeutic areas within dermatology.
​- Develop and maintain Leading Specialist / KOL interaction
​- Dealing with issue management and addressing questions about safety and reactive addressing of off-label use of LEO patient solutions based on available scientific data.
​- Developing and implementing scientific services for HCP's, including presentations and clinical lessons.
​- Supporting formulary submissions for LEO Patient solutions
​- Participation in scientific meetings and congresses and LEO therapeutic area training sessions.
​- Knowledge sharing, scientific and clinical training of internal and external stakeholders
​- Initiate, conduct and report on non-interventional LEO studies in the Benelux
​- Identify, and follow-up on investigator initiated studies, case reports or retrospective reviews
​- initiate and roll-out local or national Advisory Boards
​- Review of local medical scientific literature
​- Medical/scientific promotional review of BNL promotional materials

Field Market Access & Contract Manager Netherlands

This position is responsible for developing strong and effective relationships with HCP’s and non-medical stakeholders (e.g. Health care insurers) in the Netherlands to ensure patients (will) have maximum access to LEO’s biologics. This role will make a significant contribution to the success of the Bio Dermatology division by negotiating and establishing institutional contracts.
Drive regional market access in NL
- Develop and implement the strategy for access to current and future patient solutions and services in the Netherlands
- Gain hospital formularies in close collaboration with KAM’s:
- Ensure high value based perception of our products in stakeholders/payers mind
- Act as subject matter expert on LEO’s biologics value proposition
- Utilise clinical and economic data to demonstrate product and economic value of our product
- Maintain solid, constant and credible partnership with HCPs, payers, decision makers, other stakeholders at regional/hospital level
- Position LEO as a preferred partner and value creator in medical dermatology
- Keep market access knowledge up to date and translate national market access developments into local actions in alignment with the Market Access Manager BNL and the BU Head Bio-Dermatology
- Conduct Market intelligence, monitoring of new guidelines, protocols etc. and inform Bio-Dermatology team. Keep CRM-system up to date and comply with the applicable SOPs and legislation
Coordinate and accurately process all contracts with hospitals, wholesalers and health care insurers and apply Good Documentation Practices.
Coordinate and implement price agreements between hospitals and LEO with pre-wholesaler.
Act as the first point of contact for wholesalers for LEO Pharma BV and communicate updated pricelists, in close collaboration with the Market Access manager BNL.
